How do you get to Bali and how long is the journey?
We need to see your airline ticket to answer correctly according to the flight schedule.
Is a visa required for Bali, and how do you obtain it?
A visa is required for entry to Bali. For most countries, the visa is obtained upon arrival at the airport in Bali (VOA). The visa fee is 35 USD. Montenegro and Macedonia are currently not on the VOA list and need to obtain the B211 visa before traveling to Bali, which costs between 200-250 USD.
What is the weather like in Bali?
May is one of the nicer months to visit Bali. The weather is sunny and warm with high humidity.
What type of transportation is used on the island?
Due to heavy traffic in Bali, the best mode of transportation is a motorbike. You can rent a motorbike if you know how to ride it. If not, there’s an app for motorcycle taxis that works very well and is best for shorter distances. For group activities, we use mini buses.
What is the currency in Bali?
The official currency in Bali is the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Dollars or Euros can be exchanged at authorized currency exchange offices based on their rates.
Is it recommended to use credit/debit cards for payment?
Credit/debit cards can be used, but merchants charge a certain percentage for card payments, and it’s not always possible to pay by card everywhere. Carrying cash is recommended.
What is the time difference?
The time difference between Serbia and Bali is 6 hours (plus).
What is the food like in Bali?
Regarding food on the island, you can find everything from local to European cuisine. There’s a variety of vegetarian and vegan options available.
Is tap water safe to drink?
As with all other distant destinations, only bottled water is recommended for drinking.
