Selena is a sociologist specialising in sexology and an intimacy counsellor.
She showed interest in human sexuality back in her student days, wanting to explore and demystify the repressive influence of society on the expression of sexuality. This effort was crowned with a doctorate which she is currently completing in Paris.
She sees intimacy as a form of emotional communication shaped by the interplay of external and internal influences that constitute our sexual selves. In her counselling work, she focuses precisely on targeting these relationships and deconstructing the meanings that are formed in them. She is the originator of the EFM approach (effective formula-feature method) in intimacy counselling.
Her mission is to educate people on how to transform their beliefs and help them create a healthy and liberated sexual self. She is convinced that the ADA community contributes to the integration of these New beliefs on a broader level as the backbone of a liberated consciousness, world and a better future.
