Gina Ora Yoli has been on the path of embodied healing and spirituality for 30 years. She trained as a modern ballet dancer moving on to become a Dance Movement & Expressive Arts psychotherapist.
During her professional career she worked within psychiatric, psychosocial and educational settings. Gina’s longing for the spiritual and her passion to know other cultures took her to Central Java, there she was led to both meditation and dance masters where she experienced an opening into realms of the personal, transpersonal and mystical.
The possibility of being physically present in the very here and now while simultaneously crossing space time location was reality shattering in its essence, yet felt totally natural. Gina’s way of experiencing and being in the world shifted and it changed the way she understood healing.
Gina has also been shaped by 21 years of intense play with a Peruvian Shaman, while facilitating his work. Gina is a practitioner of Embodiment – “ Everything that is here, belongs”.
She is United States born – Israeli raised and has deep ties to her tribe of Hebrew descent. Gina continues to surrender to the inner organic impulse to Move and the imperative “ to witness”. She currently makes Serbia her home while cultivating and nourishing her global relationships as much as possible.
Workshops she is offering:
Authentic Movement Workshop
The Movement of Witnessing is an experience of embodied intimacy with ourselves in the presence of others. In the eyes of the other, the Witness.
As Movers we close our eyes and allow ourselves to follow our inner organic impulse – to move, to be still, to sound or to be silent. The Witness is settled in one place and present to the Mover with eyes open. Together Witness and Movers co-create a ritual field for self-exploration in play with others. An embodied practice of Heart, Body, Mind, and Spirit.
Our patterns of relating are revealed through our movement, sensations, and imagination. What unfolds for us on the movement floor is a reflection of our lives. We become visible to ourselves. We feel seen by another.
